Roy Myron Johnson was born October 26, 1936, to Cora and Alvie Johnson.

He was united in marriage on February 28, 1959 to Vivian Jeanette Johnson.

Roy was a family man and was most remembered for being a loving husband and father.

Roy's children included Penny Cutsforth of Clarkridge, Arkansas, Patricia Jean Speed of Jesup, Iowa, and Peggy Sue Alexander of Jesup, Iowa. Roy was also had 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Roy worked and retired from John Deere.

Besides work and family he enjoyed watching football, especially when the Minnesota Vikings took the field.
