Ferrell Amos "Doc" Smith was born December 19, 1913 in Hutton Valley MO.

He was nicknamed after an old doctor in Mountain View, Mo. Doc Ferrell.

When he was a small boy his family lived in a large tent near Mountain View MO

Ferrell and his brother ran moonshine and dug wells as young men.

He worked in timber and picked cotton then later moved to Kansas City MO where he worked several years for Zonelite Co.

He became disabled in his 40's.

He came back to the Lord the last year of his life and loved going to church and spent hours reading the Bible.
